ACCIDENTS

• On April 12, at 12:49 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two-vehicle accident in the alley behind 105 W. Hammond St. Chelsea Griffeth, 30, Red Oak, driving a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country, was traveling west in the alley when Hollis Major, 44, Red Oak, driving a 1999 Ford F150 pick-up, was backing into the alley from his driveway. Major did not see the Griffeth vehicle due to a fence, and the Griffeth vehicle struck the Major vehicle, causing $800 damage to the Major vehicle and $1,900 to the Griffeth vehicle. There were no injuries, and no citations were issued.
