ACCIDENTS
• On March 24, at 3:09 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Broadway and Oak Street. Garnard Harbeck, 49, Red Oak, driving a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup owned by Amy Nielsen, was traveling south on Broadway and approaching the intersection with Oak Street. Connie Burch, 65, Red Oak, driving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, was also traveling south on Broadway behind the Harbeck vehicle, failed to stop, and rear-ended the Harbeck vehicle. Damage to the Harbeck vehicle was about $100 and damage to the Burch vehicle was about $1,600. Burch was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
