ACCIDENTS

• On Feb. 19, at 8:24 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a three-vehicle accident on Red Oak High School property just off North 4th Street. Kaitlyn Ruhl, 18, Minot AFB, N.D., driving a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan owned by Allison Ruhl, Red Oak, was following too closely and rear-ended a 2010 Buick Lucerne driven by Michael Brown, 46, Exira, owned by Todd Brown, Exira. The Brown vehicle then hit a 2018 Kia Optima driven by Barbara Lombard, 40, Red Oak. Damage to the Ruhl vehicle was about $3,500, and damage to the Brown vehicle and the Lombard was about $1,500 each. There were no injuries, and no citations were issued.
