Purchase Exchange Location in Red Oak

The Red Oak Police Department would like to inform residents that a “Purchase/Public Exchange Location” has been formally recognized and located by the Montgomery County Law Center.  The new sign will be located in the 400 block of N 1^st Street, and the parking spaces will be on the West side of the street.  This location should be used by those individuals who are: purchasing/selling/trading items online and are meeting an unknown person for their transaction; or meeting for the purpose of family/child custody exchanges.  The location chosen will have 24 video surveillance, but will NOT have 24 hour monitoring.  We hope to increase the safety chances for those utilizing this.  Questions may be directed to Chief Justin Rhamy.
