Old-Timers to wrestle in Griswold Saturday

GRISWOLD — Griswold High School will once again play host to the annual Old-Timers Wrestling Tournament this Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.

The Old-Timers tournament is open to anyone age 18 or older, who is not in high school and is not currently a member of a college wrestling program (2011-12). All wrestlers must sign a release form before wrestling.

The matches will be high school rules, with three 1-minute rounds. There will be a 1-minute overtime and 30 seconds sudden death, should it be needed.

Weight classes will be determined the day of the tournament and separated by three age divisions (18-30, 31-45 and 46+).

Pre-registreation must be received by Marc 1 and will cost $15. Walk in costs will be $20.
