Ruth Ellen Dunbar, 88, Red Oak, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah.
Ruth was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Cherokee, the daughter of Almo and Lena Brownmiller.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Dean; and husband, Orville Dunbar.
Survivors include her children, Dale, Kathy, Dennis, Karen, Kim, and Kris; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the North Grove Cemetery in Mills County.
Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
