Ruby Godfrey, 97

Ruby Godfrey, 97, Red Oak, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at the Arlington Place in Red Oak.   
Ruby, the daughter of Marion and Nora B. (McGee) Smith, was born on May 20, 1926, in rural Silver City.   
Ruby is survived by her husband, Don; sons, Richard Godfrey of Henderson; and Darrell Godfrey of Liberty, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern. Private burial will be at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, rural Hastings.
Visitation at the funeral home will be on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the donor’s choice.
