Melissa Miller-Davidson, 41

Melissa Jean Miller-Davidson, 41, of Emerson, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.
Melissa was born Sept. 4, 1982, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Richard Daniel and Carol Ann (Gates) Miller. She was raised in Omaha until the family moved to Griswold in 1994, where Melissa attended school.
Melissa lived much of her life in Elliott until moving to Emerson, and she was united in marriage to Kevin Davidson on Aug. 27, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nev. She was a homemaker all her life. Melissa was a Girl Scout for many years, never knew a stranger, loved collecting rocks, gardening, growing pumpkins and sweet corn, playing Bingo, fishing, eating chocolate, and spending time with family. She had a big heart and was always willing to share sweet corn and pumpkins with family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Jean Ebert and husband Bob; father,  Richard Miller; husband, Kevin Davidson; and granddaughter, Sloan Smith.
Survivors include her children, Lily Peterson (Bryce Alley) of Hamburg; Nathaniel Miller (Racheal Simmons) of Shenandoah; Tucker Miller of Emerson; Amanda Roper (Nathaniel) of Brunswick, Ga.; Megan Davidson (Tim Smith) of Papillion, Neb.; and Krystal Davidson of Red Oak; grandchildren, Milo Miller; Lydia Alley; John and Henry Roper; Blake and Colton Smith; and Paige, Ethan, and Aydden Clark; mother, Carol Miller of Hamburg; brothers, Daniel Miller of Leavenworth, Kan.; Matthew Miller (Nicole Miller) of Belleville, Ill.; and Richard Miller of Omaha, Neb.; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service was held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Burial of ashes will be in the Gomer Cemetery at Wales. Memorials are suggested to the family.
