Kumpong Waymire, 76, Hastings, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak.
Kumpong was born May 13, 1948, in Khon Kaen, Thailand, the daughter of Sing and Tee Kawjoompol.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her son, Kittipong Pilichai.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Waymire of Hastings; children, Jeffrey Waymire of Overland Park, Kan.; Jeremy Waymire of Hastings; and Tina Mischke of Omaha, Neb.; and five grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was held Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the North Grove Cemetery in Mills County.
