John DeBolt, 74

John Lester DeBolt, 74, Carroll, passed away April 1, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
John was born on Oct. 28, 1951, in Council Bluffs, the son of Lester and Evelyn (Selser) DeBolt.
John is survived by his children, Laura McNatt of Clive, Cara Bloom of Ankeny, Emily DeBolt of Sioux Falls, and James DeBolt of Ames. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Evelyn DeBolt.
A graveside service was held at the Emerson Cemetery, in Emerson, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
