Gregg Peters, 84

Gregg Glen Peters, 84, Red Oak, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at CHI Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.
Gregg was born Oct. 1, 1940, in Chicago, Ill., where he was raised until he moved to McHenry, Ill. He was the son of Melvin “Pete” and Marjorie (Stockley) Peters.
He is survived by his daughter, Leah Eldridge of Red Oak; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life and service will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Acorn Acres Large Community Room in Red Oak. Burial will be held on Aug. 8, 2025, at the Windridge Cemetery in Cary, Ill. Memorials are suggested to the Red Oak Senior Center.
LeRette Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with cremation services.
