Gary Maher, 79

Gary R. Maher, 79, Imogene, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, at Accura Healthcare in Shenandoah.
Gary Roger Maher, the son of Gerald and Dorothy (Howard) Maher, was born Dec. 21, 1944, in Shenandoah.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and half-sister, Geraldine Viner.
Gary is survived by his wife, Mary Maher of Imogene; two children: Timothy Maher of Council Bluffs, and Ashley Maher of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church at Imogene. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Imogene.
Wake Service will be at 4 p.m. with Visitation to follow until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Imogene.
