Eleanore "Ellie" Kasch, 92

Eleanore V. “Ellie” Kasch, 92, of Council Bluffs, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at the Prairie Gate Senior Living Community in Council Bluffs.  
Ellie was born October 2, 1934, in Brush, Colo., the daughter of Gordon John and Sarah Margaret (Leavitt) Kingston.
    Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Gordon Kasch.  
Survivors include her children, Tonya Meyer of Kingsland, Ga.; Tamra Ruff of Emerson; and Jeffrey Kasch of Angelis City, Philippines; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m.Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, at the Salem United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs, with a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall.  Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery at Elliott.
