Eleanor Hallquist, 94, Stanton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024 at Accura HealthCare, Stanton.
Eleanor Genevieve Hallquist, the daughter of Rev. A. Leonard and Pearl (Peterson) Smith, was born April 20, 1930, in Sterling, Ill.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Hallquist; and daughter, Ruth A. Williams.
Eleanor is survived by four children, Rhoda Hartstack of Stanton; Knute Hallquist of Stanton; Kevin Hallquist of Stanton; Keith Hallquist of Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, Sept. 30, 2024 at Mamrelund Lutheran Church, Stanton. Burial was in Mamrelund Cemetery (Old Cemetery) Stanton.
