David Minge, 90

David Lynn Minge, 90, passed away Oct. 14, 2024, at Carlsbad, Calif., after a brief illness.
Davy was born near Waterville, Kan., on Feb. 10, 1934, to Orville and Edna (Yaussi) Minge.
The family moved to Villisca in 1935, where Davy went to a country school and Villisca High School, graduating in 1952. Davy went to college for two years and then joined the Army and for three years he spent most of his time in occupied Germany.
After leaving the Army, Davy finished his education at Mexico City, Mexico, becoming a civil engineer. Davy spent most of his time being a surveyor for the City and County of Los Angeles, Calif.
Davy had been cremated under the care of Accu Care Center in Carlsbad, Calif., and has been placed in the wall at Miramar National Military Cemetery in San Diego, Calif.
Davy is survived by one brother, John Minge, of Clearmont, Mo., and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
No funeral is planned. Visitation may be at a later date.
