Charles Edward “Chuck” West, 97, Algona, died March 10, 2023.
Chuck was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Red Oak, to William and Ellen West.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Lee West; and his wife, Mary Ellen (Frush) West.
He is survived by three children, Roberta Moser, Karen West, and Becky West Bibler; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A private graveside burial of ashes will take place at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at First Congregational UCC Church, Red Oak.
