Carol "Janice" Lewis, 94

Carol Janice Focht Lewis, 94, passed away Jan. 20, 2024, at the Homestead Assisted Living Facility in Shenandoah.
Carol Focht was born on Feb. 12, 1929 to Fred and Irene (Gourley) Focht near Morton’s Mill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; and her parents.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Carol Eno of Shenandoah, and Kay Fast-Deyoe, of Villisca; four grandchildren;  and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at the Villisca United Methodist Church in Villisca.  Burial will be in the Villisca Cemetery.  
Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at the Villisca United Methodist Church.  
Memorials are suggested to the Villisca United Methodist Church, the Villisca Alumni and Friends Association, or the Janice and Dwight Lewis Scholarship Fund.
