Fire at Red Oak BP

At 5:10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, the Red Oak Fire Department was dispatched to 1710 N. Broadway (Lincoln BP) for a report of the building full of smoke.

Upon firefighters making entry, they discovered the ice machine in the back room had caught fire. The waterline supplying the machine had been compromised from the fire, ultimately extinguishing the fire.

There was damage to the ice machine and surrounding area, and the store was closed on that day. No injuries reported.

The Red Oak Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency, the Red Oak Police Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and Montgomery County Communications.
