Timberwolves drop road game
Brogan Ewing scored 19 points and Cam Seuferer 15 to lead Southeast Warren to a 68-50 win over Southwest Valley in Pride of Iowa boys basketball Friday.
Cael Hogan led the Timberwolves with 19 points. Wyatt Mendenhall added 17 points.

Southwest Valley 65
Jackson Ruggles hit eight three-pointers and scored a game-high 38 points for Mount Ayr in a 73-65 win over Southwest Valley in boys Pride of Iowa Conference basketball Thursday.
Ruggles shot 9-of-13 from the field, including 8-of-11 from behind the three-point line, and grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists on his big night for the Raiders (5-1 overall, 4-0 in the conference).
Alex Morgan led four Timberwolves in double figures with 17 points. Wyatt Mendenhall added 14 points, Cael Hogan 13 and Colten Pegg 12.
Bedford 52,
Southwest Valley 40
Bedford’s 16-6 fourth quarter lifted them past Southwest Valley in non-conference boys basketball last Monday.
Cal Peterman scored 13 points, pulled down 17 rebounds and blocked nine shots for Bedford in the win. Quinn Dalton chipped in 14 points.
Wyatt Mendenhall paced Southwest Valley with 14 points. Alex Morgan, Cael Hogan and Devin Greenwalt added six points each.
Amanda Houser scored nine points to lead Griswold.
