Lyn Linder, 80

Our beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Sister-In-Law passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 in Lincoln, Neb.
Lyn Rider (Sawyer) Linder was born July 12, 1942, to Amon and Dorothy (Rider) Sawyer and married Raymond Carl Linder on Sept. 21, 1963, in Red Oak. They were married 55 years before his passing in 2019. They had two daughters, Kristin (Mike) Behnke, and Julie (Cory) Fredenburg, all of Lincoln. Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Avery Short, Rider Behnke and Brynn Fredenburg; sister, Jane McVay of Fort Worth, Texas; and her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ron Gerner, of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her father- and mother-in-law, Carl Raymond and Mary Ella Linder.
After graduating from Red Oak High School in 1960, Lyn attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her work life included accounting work at First National Bank and the accounting firm of Fry, White and Guzack of Lincoln.
We will miss her spunk, her knowledge of so many things, her love of reading and cooking and her adventurous spirit.
Graveside services will be held June 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak.
