RO’s Carlson, Stanton’s Weis recognized at BB banquet
The 33rd All-Academic Team has been selected by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. A panel of coaches selected these senior players who demonstrated outstanding academic, moral, and athletic characteristics. First Team members were honored at the All-Star Banquet, which was held Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Carrollton Inn Banquet Center in Carroll.
Two area standouts were recognized. Donnie Weis of Stanton was selected for the first team and Cole Carlson of Red Oak was selected for the second team. The complete list is below.
