Letter filled with innuendoes about council candidate
I am answering last week’s letter to the editor submitted by Evon Carlson that was filled by innuendoes and failed to identify who she does not want to be elected to the Red Oak City Council.
We all know that candidate to be Pastor Fred Pilecki. If she had been in church the first Sunday that he was here, she would have known he gave his life story, including “criminal background” and other things he had done before he was called to be a minister.
He was also asked by the Red Oak Express to put his life story in an article that was published in the Express. Again, old news.
I don’t know where she got the “questionable character” comment.
The “problems and divisions” of the First United Methodist Church were not caused by Pastor Fred. If she had talked to anyone in city government, she would have found out there is no problem between the council, mayor and city manager. The Red Oak Chamber and Industry Association has a board of directors and is not run by one person.
Robert Fenstermann is a resident of Red Oak.
