Freshman volleyball loses to Harlan

RED OAK — The Red Oak freshman volleyball team lost last Tuesday night to the Harlan Cyclones, 2-0, in Red Oak.

The Cyclones won 25-19 and 25-15.

Kate Walker led the way for the freshmen with four kills, seven digs and was perfect on all five of her serve attempts.

Micayla Taylor and Nikki Graber each had two kills. Taylor also had two assists and a dig against Harlan.

Graber meanwhile, was one of three Tigers to record a serving ace in the match, the other two being Sydney DiGiacomo and MaKayla LeRette.

The team is back in action Tuesday night when they take on the Clarinda Cardinals.
