Update on Highway 34 construction

Construction crews will be opening up the north half of Fourth Street this week. This will allow for north-south traffic at Fourth Street. Once Fourth Street is open crews will be closing the north half of Eighth Street. traffic will no longer be able to turn north at Eighth Street after this closure.

Construction crews anticipate Eighth Street to the north will be closed for a couple of weeks. Once they have finished Eighth Street and have it open crews will then close the north half of Eastern Avenue. this will occur around the last week of September.
