Severe Weather possible Dec. 15.

Montgomery County is facing the threat of potential severe weather this afternoon.

 

Montgomery County Emergency Management coordinator Brian Hamman is urging residents to take the information being put out seriously.

 

"If there is severe weather in our area, I would urge everyone to seek out the latest weather information and seek shelter immediately if warnings are issued.  It will be possible that non-thunderstorm winds could gust higher than 70mph throughout the day with stronger winds possible within storms," Hamman said.

 

The most likely window for severe storms to occur in our area will be between 3:30-5:30pm.Below is a link to the latest weather information from the National Weather Service in Omaha.
