ROFD Pancake/Sausage fundraiser for wildland vehicle Oct. 9

The Red Oak Fire Department’s 2022 open house will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 on the east side of 1904 N. Broadway, Red Oak.
Pancakes and sausage “to go” will be served in this drive thru style breakfast. Please come around the east side of the fire department in order to be served.
Proceeds from this year will be used to donate a wildland firefighting vehicle. These vehicles are used to fight grass/field fires and have the ability to respond to remote locations with rescue equipment, such as Jaws of Life, where the department’s larger vehicles are unable to access.
The estimated cost of this vehicle is $250,000.
