RO speech students advance to state

On Feb. 24, Red Oak speech students performed in Afton at East Union High School. A total of 11 students performed in 17 events.
 Several students are brand new to speech this year and several have tried brand new categories that are incredibly difficult. In addition, several students wrote their own selection.
