No non-citizen voters registered in county

Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate announced that his office has completed additional audits of Iowa’s voter registration lists and identified 277 confirmed noncitizens who have voted or are registered to vote.
Montgomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna said in Montgomery County, she received notice that two voters may be subject to scrutiny.
“In October, 2024, Secretary of State Paul Pate provided us a spreadsheet that had lists, so if there were any non-citizens in Montgomery County, they were listed on that spreadsheet. We had two on that list, but I had reached out to those individuals and received the documentation of their actual citizenship that they had already achieved. Therefore, we didn’t take any of the action that Secretary of State was requiring, because we already had the documentation, so we didn’t have any issues,” Ozuna said.
