Donation made to aid in opioid treatment and prevention
A check in the amount of $89,360 was donated to Zion Integrated Behavioral Health Services on May 16. Per Resolution 23-11, passed by the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors on April 18, Zion agrees to receive the opioid funds to be used and accounted for opioid addiction prevention and treatment activities. Schmid, along with designated staff from Zion, will be attending the opioid Settlement Funds Strategic Planning Summit in Des Moines May 24-25 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton.
