Cupola repairs underway at courthouse
Work is currently underway to make much-needed repairs to the damaged cupola on the Montgomery County Courthouse roof.
In early May, the Montgomery County Courthouse sustained roof damage to the center most cupola as a result of strong significant wind. On Monday May 30th, several additional pieces of the cupola fell as a result of continued strong winds, damaging a parked car.
Contractors with Renaissance Roofing, Inc. arrived at the courthouse June 28 to begin the repair work. It’s unknown at this time exactly how long the repairs will take. Lift services were being provided by Lift-All Crane Service of Omaha, Neb. Pictured are, from left: Juan Alvarado and Tom Bunders.
