Myra McMullen, 74

Myra L. McMullen, 74, Shenandoah, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Northview Manor in Tarkio, Mo.

Myra Louise McMullen born in Winterset Feb. 15, 1940, the daughter of Virgil and Grace (Van Epps) Lewellen.

On June 3, 1956, Myra married Rex DeVere McMullen. They lived in Imogene, Shenandoah, Rockport, Mo. and Fairfax, Mo. After Rex’s passing Myra moved in with her daughter, Peggy and son-in-law, Bob Taylor of Shenandoah.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Patricia Jean McMullen; two brothers, Jim and John Lewellen; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Lewellen.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Taylor (Bobb); a grandson, Robert Taylor (Carla), Seward, Neb.; great-grandchildren Timmy and Carl and Rebecca Bressler (Eric), Maryville, Mo.; a sister, Mary Ann Wilson (Darrell), Red Oak; a sister-in-law, Grace Lewellen, Ralston, Neb.; and a brother-in-law, Gene McMullen (Linda), Shenandoah.

Myra was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. There will be no visitation and no memorials requested. Online guestbook and obituary at missouricremation.com.
