More than 30 attend youth baseball clinic

The Montgomery County Family YMCA and the City of Red Oak Park and Tree Board recently cosponsored a Youth Baseball Clinic on June 24, at the Red Oak Sports Complex. University of Nebraska at Omaha Men’s Head Baseball Coach Bob Herold and Assistant Coach Chris Gadsen led the clinic which had over 30 boys, ages six - 17, attend.

Coaches Herold and Gadsen focused their instruction on the proper fundamentals needed for fielding, throwing, hitting and base running.

The YMCA and Park and Tree Board will also be cosponsoring two youth basketball camps, a girl’s volleyball camp, the Tiger Football Camp and the Tiger Cross Country camp later this summer.
