MCMH Auxiliary hosting Shamrock Ball March 17

RED OAK — The Montgomery County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting a “Shamrock Ball” Saturday, March 17 for their 46th annual benefit dinner-dance.

Festivities at Red Coach Inn will start at 6 p.m., with dinner served from 6-9. The Irish menu includes corned beef and cabbage, mulligan stew, parmesan chicken and baked fish. Dancing to the music of The Rhythm Kings will follow at 9.

A highlight of the benefit is the silent auction of arts and crafts contributed by talented local artists and crafters.  A raffle with prizes donated by friends of the Auxiliary  will continue throughout the evening.

Sara Culver will head the committee creating the Irish ambiance  for the benefit. Arts and crafts for the silent auction are being assembled by Carol Sparr, Carrie Stames, Carolyn Jones, Nancy Nealon and Jane Waltz.

Peggy Reed and Dave Jennings are in charge of the raffle, with Dawn LeRette and Diane Sifford gathering prizes.

Auxiliary president LaDonna Rossander is general chairman.

Ticket sales are being coordinated by Shelley Berggren and Jolene Crawford. Tickets are available for $20 at the Lemon Tree shop at MCMH and the Red Oak Chamber and Industry Assoc-iation.  Nancy Latus will have tickets in Stanton (829-2404) and Donna Robinson in Villisca (826-4902).

All proceeds will be used to provide hospital equipment.
