Local schools hold football camps

Despite the temperature and high humidity, area schools held football camps August 1,      through August 5. Red Oak and Stanton schools held camps for those entering middle school or high school and are interested in playing football this season. The main focus of these camps was to begin stretching and conditioning as well as working on specific plays and drills.
The camps help new players get to know the other members of the team and build a brotherhood. Coaches demanded hydration from the players and kept the water available throughout the week.
