Letter to the Editor: Trump deeds, plans outside the norm

To the Editor:

Hillary Clinton is a politician, and like most, a combination of ambition and idealism. And like most politicians, she is somewhat secretive, duplicitous, and conniving. Lest we judge them too harshly, politicians are from us, and like us, and every human relationship involves politics – none of us is completely transparent, consistent, or free from self-interest in any of our relationships. This is normal.

Donald Trump is different – outside the norm. At best, he is a spoiled man-child who cannot control his impulses to bully, fight, and take revenge for even small slights (bullying includes sexually assaulting women that he is attracted to – a crime). At worst, he is a narcissistic megalomaniac, complete with delusions of grandeur, easily provoked, and unable to admit or even know when he’s lying, wrong, abusive, or has failed in even the slightest way. How can we trust someone like that?

May the people of this great country not be blinded by such a self-declared pseudo-savior whose statements are often so outlandish he has the subconscious need to exclaim “Believe me!” after uttering them.
