Letter to the editor: Let's stamp out hunger

 This Saturday, May 14, marks the 24th anniversary of the National Association of Letter Carriers “Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.” The donations collected locally go directly to the food pantries in Red Oak.

The need for donations at the food pantry is always great. 

Residents can participate in this year’s food drive by simply leaving their non-perishable food donation in a bag by their mailbox. Their postal carrier, whether rural or city, will do the rest. Donations may also be brought to the post office during posted window hours. 

I invite everyone to join in America’s great day of giving and help us in our fight to end hunger, Saturday, May 14.
