Leola Sexton, 92

Leola Sexton, 92, of Stanton, passed away Jan. 10, 2011, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak.  
M. Leola Sexton was born April 28, 1918, in Grant City, Mo. the daughter of Edgar M. and Cecile (Hontz) Gillpatrick.  She married Harvey W. Sexton on April 14, 1935, in Albany, Mo.  Survivors include her daughters:  Stella Govig of Red Oak; Connie Ramsey of Grant; and Beverly Semmons of Stanton; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; sisters:  Virginia Hill of Evona, Mo. and Betty Duncan of St. Joseph, Mo.; brothers:  A.C. Gillpatrick of Hemple, Mo.; Larry Gillpatrick of Lewisburg, Kan.; Gerald Gillpatrick of St. Joseph, Mo.; and Bob Gillpatrick of Overland Park, Kan.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 14 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel.  Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
