Lee Carole Barr, 66

Lee Carole Barr, 66, Red Oak died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Care Center after an extended illness.

Lee Carole Barr was born Feb. 16, 1946, in Eldon, Missouri to Kieffer Roland and Lee Anna (Ross) Lehman. She married Leo Grossman Aug. 3, 1968. Leo preceded her in death in 1992.  Lee Carole married Wayne Barr Jan. 1, 1994 and they made their home in Red Oak.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Leo Grossman.  

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Barr of Red Oak; two daughters, Sheila Grossman of Minneapolis, Minn. and Melissa Tarbox of Red Oak; a son, Shawn Grossman of Owattona, Minn.; three step-children, Tracey Earl of Seminole, Fla., Jeri Chapa of Omaha, Bill Barr of Red Oak; two brothers, Kieffer “Ross” Lehman of Fresno, Calif. and Harvey Lehman of Rockford, Ill.; a foster sister, Lois Barnett of Red Oak; 13 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, Red Oak. Graveside services were Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the St. Anne Cemetery in Wabasso, Minn. followed by a time of fellowship at the St. Anne Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the Grace Baptist Church or the Mobility For Independence Foundation.
