Larry Sands, 65

Larry Wayne Sands, 65, Red Oak, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha after a sudden illness.

Larry was born April 16, 1948, in Red Oak, the son of Wayne and Colleen (Vanderhoof) Sands.

He married Vicki Adams and three children were born to this union, Beth, Becky and Cathy.

He later married Roxanna McCuen and one daughter was born to this union, Jody.

Survivors include his daughters, Beth Griffeth, Becky Sands, Cathy Bush, Jody Sands and Dawn Dozier, all of Red Oak; a brother, Rick Sands of Red Oak; and a sister, Rita Bienhoff of Red Oak.

A celebration of life service was Friday, April 18, 2014 at Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial of the cremated remains was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family of Larry Sands.
