Kathy A. Echternach, 58

Kathy A. Echternach, 58, of Lakewood, Colo., formerly of Red Oak, died Aug. 10, 2009 at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colo.

Kathy Ann Echternach, the daughter of Elmer and Aline (Graham) Echternach was born Feb. 14, 1951, in Red Oak.

Kathy was raised and graduated from Red Oak High School in l969. She then attended Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville, Mo. for a year. In 1970, Kathy moved to Denver, Colo. and began a life long career as a Mortgage Broker in the Real Estate field. She made her home the last number of years in Lakewood, Colo. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Echternach.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Aline Echternach of Red Oak; brother, Mike (Cindy) Echternach of Red Oak; sister, Lori Echternach of Red Oak; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in Lakewood, Colo. and burial was at the Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak.
