Juanita B. Howell, 88, of Gresham, Ore., formerly of the Red Oak, died on March 11, 2009. Juanita was born March 1, 1921, to Isaac and Matilda Gravett in Lime Creek, Minn. She attended Corning High School. On Feb. 28, 1941, she married Harold H. Howell. Juanita has six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also was a member of the First Congregational Church in Red Oak and Hillside Christian Fellowship in Clackamas, Ore.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Page of Red Oak, and sisters, Nola Comstock of Omaha, Neb., and Irene Williams of Peoria, Ariz.
Services were held on March 16 at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes, followed by a committal service at Mt. View Corbett Pioneer Cemetery.
