Johnston Communication owners named to council

 VILLISCA — Johnston Communications owners Mark and Theresa Johnston were recently named to the Exede Internet Advisory Council, a working group formed by ViaSat to solicit input from independent dealers of Exede satellite Internet service. 

The Johnston’s, whose business has been serving the Iowa and Nebraska areas for more than 12 years, will join nine other dealers, as well as ViaSat executives, on the advisory council.

“It’s really an honor to be asked to serve on this council,” said the Johnstons. “As a local Exede retailer with hundreds of Exede customers, we’re in a unique position to share retailer and customer ideas and opportunities with ViaSat management. Ultimately, what comes out of this is a better experience for our customers and Exede retailers.”
