Jackson and Summers

Mark Jackson and Ann Carder of Red Oak, and Vaughn and John Howig of Lenexa, Kan., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Vaughn Jackson, to Shane Nathan Summers, son of Cheryl and the late Don Summers of Rush Center, Kan. 

Samantha received a BGS degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing and Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Life from the University of Kansas in 2007 and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2010.  She in employed at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Shane received his BS in Information Networking and Telecommunications with an emphasis in Radio Broadcasting from Fort Hays State University in 2008.  He is employed at 810 WHB Union Broadcasting in Overland Park, Kan.
An Oct. 9, 2010, wedding is planned at Millcreek Park on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.
