Irene E. Robinson, 86

Irene E. Robinson, 86, of Villisca, died July 9, 2009, at the Stanton Care Center.

Irene Elizabeth Robinson was born to Leonard Larson and Hilda Swanson Larson on June 2, 1923, in Stanton.

Irene graduated from Stanton High School. She was married to Don Robinson.

They had two children - Linda and Larry.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Hilda (Swanson) Larson; husband Don; son Larry Robinson; brothers Dennis Larson and Weldon Larson; sisters Myrtle Larson and Minnie (Bill) Findley; sisters-in-law Rachel Lyle and Glenna Mae; and brother-in-law Harold Robinson.

She is survived by her daughter Linda (Steve) Ridenour of Atlanta, Ga., two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law Don Lyle.

Funeral services were held on July 12 at the Wolfe Funeral Home of Villisca, with interment in the Villisca Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a fund to benefit the Villisca Cemetery.
