Tigers win four gold medals at Underwood

The Red Oak boys track team won four events and placed sixth as a team at the Underwood Co-ed Relays Thursday.
Riverside edged Treynor 137 to 133 to win the boys team title. Red Oak finished with 64 points for sixth place.
“A much better night tonight,” said Red Oak coach Sueann French. “We raced at Underwood to see Riverside and  their 4x800 team and our boys beat them. That was a great win for our guys. Coach (Carter) Bruce and I are super proud of the guys on their performance tonight.”
Cale Hall had a big day for the Tigers. The senior won the 100-meters and the 200-meters.
Emmanuel Grass had a hand in two gold medals, winning the 1,600-meters and joining Osiel Pedersen, Hayden Hietbrink and Reese Montgomery in winning the 4x800-meters.
