Tigers sweep Rams for Hawk 10 win

Red Oak notched its 13th straight win of the season with a 25-17, 25-11, 25-18 win over Glenwood in Hawkeye 10 Conference volleyball Thursday.
The Tigers opened the first set with a 7-0 run and were in control throughout in the win.
Jocelyn O’Neal had 12 kills and Keely Jones 10 to lead the Tigers attack. For the match, Red Oak hit .168 as a team with 38 kills.
Emily Sebeniecher guided the Tiger offense while dishing up 34 set assists.
Mariel Ramirez led three Tigers to record double-figure digs with 21.
The Rams had a tough time getting their offense in rhythm against the Tigers’ scrappy defense, finishing with 17 kills on 95 attempts.
Kaylee Wray led the way with 11 winners. Cambree Smothers had 12 set assists.
