Tigers place two on All-Hawkeye 10 teams

Red Oak’s Mariella Richards-Hernandez and Mareli Ramos were tabbed as honorable mention selections on the All-Hawkeye 10 Conference Girls Soccer Team Released last week.
In the vote of conference coaches, Atlantic’s Lucy Cohrs, Denison’s Joceyln Serrato and Xochi Arellano, Glenwood’s Brielle Allmon and Abby Hargens, Harlan’s Carly Tomelen, Kuemper Catholic’s Cierra Pudenz and Rylie Massey, Council Bluffs Lewis Central’s Irelynn White and Zoey Overall and Council Bluffs St. Albert’s Eleanor Coughlin, Ellie Larmie, Stella Simms, Lexie Darrington and Piper Pellett were first team selections.
Allmon, Coughlin, and Larmie were unanimous first team choices by all coaches.
Allmon topped Glenwood with 17 goals this season. Coughlin scored 18 goals and added 25 assists while Larmie scored 34 goals and led the league with 26 assists.
Pudenz led the conference with 35 goals.
The Tigers’ Ramos, a senior, scored her team’s lone goal this season. Richards-Hernandez played the majority of her mintues in goal for Red Oak this season making 179 saves.
