Tigers’ Roberts tabbed for All-Hawkeye 10 soccer honors

Red Oak goalkeeper Wyatt Roberts was selected to the All-Hawkeye 10 Conference Boys Soccer Team released last week.
In the league-wide vote of coaches, Roberts was tabbed for the all-conference second team.
Glenwood’s Audrey Nieman, Harlan’s Aubrey Schwieso, Kuemper Catholic’s Cierra Pudenz and Council Bluffs Lewis Central’s Irelynn White and Maya Humlicek were unanimous girls first team selections. On the boys side, Council Bluffs St. Albert’s Kyle Irwin was the lone unanimous choice.
Pudenz led the conference the girls with 29 goals in conference play while Irwin topped the boys with 39 goals.
Roberts, a junior, recorded 116 saves while starting all 12 matches for Red Oak this season.
Tiger freshman Nolan Case, who led the way with four goals this season, was an honorable mention selection.
