Riverside gets by Stanton in districts

Cole Jeppesen scored 23 points to lead Riverside to a 70-27 win over Stanton in the Class 1A, District 13 postseason first round last Monday in Carson.
The Bulldogs shot nearly 50 percent from the field – 27-of-55 – and turned the ball over just three times in the victory.
 Brodee Sowers scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Stanton.
The Vikings close their season with a record of 11-12 overall, including a 7-5 mark in the Corner Conference.
