Riverside closes out Stanton late in 59-50 win

Riverside finished the game on a 23-11 run to down Stanton 59-50 in non-conference girls basketball last Monday.
Kayden Schnack led way with for the Bulldogs with 20 points. Sydney Somers chipped in 11 points and Sophia Fenner 10.
“Sickness hit the JV girls squad this week leaving the team with 6 players. These 6 girls played their hearts out. The Queens lost to Riverside’s experienced team with a deep bench,” said assistant coach Lacey Stephens.
“The ViQueens fought hard but fell short by 9 points to an excellent Riverside basketball team.” Lauren Johnson scored 16 points and had seven rebounds. Hannah Olson added 12 points and 12 rebounds.
